Message from the President and CEO

Gerard Jerry Vitti

I grew up in a household steeped in social justice. My father was a social worker and connecting low income people with benefit programs is a calling for me. Upon graduating from Northeastern University’s business finance program, I started my first business rooted in that tradition.

I have three children, one of whom has a rare disability that affects both her physical health and mental well-being. I know too well how difficult it can be to navigate the system even with ample resources. That is why I started HFI, it is my way of extending a helping hand to those who need it.

— Gerard A. Vitti

We improve health outcomes for members and in doing so, we also improve our clients' bottom line.

For more than 20 years, HFI has had an overwhelmingly positive impact on Member health, and the fiscal health of the Health Plans that care for them.
